FAQ

Questions we hear every day

Why does my qualification need to be recognised?
For regulated professions (medicine, nursing, many engineering and trade roles) you legally need formal recognition to practise in Germany. For other professions, recognition makes it far easier to find work at the right level and salary.
How long does recognition take?
It depends on the profession and your documents — typically 8–12 weeks for academic and engineering recognition, and 3–9 months for regulated medical professions. We submit a complete file so you avoid preventable delays.
Do I need to speak German?
For regulated professions (especially medical) a German language certificate is usually required — often B2, plus a professional-language exam for doctors. For purely academic recognition, language is often not required. We confirm what your case needs.
What does it cost?
Our service fee depends on the track and is shown when you start your application. Authority fees and certified-translation costs are separate and confirmed to you up front — never a surprise.
Can you handle doctors and nurses too?
Yes. Physicians (medical licence) and other health professions (nursing, pharmacy, physiotherapy) each follow their own regulated process — we handle both on their correct, separate paths.
Do you do everything or just advise?
We handle it end to end: track confirmation, document gathering, certified translations, application preparation, submission and authority follow-up. You upload your documents; we do the rest.
